CUNA CEO Bill Cheney talks MBL in new audio podcast

While it appears the member business lending amendment proposed by Sen. Mark Udall (D-CO) will come to a head by mid September, new CUNA CEO Bill Cheney believes credit unions still have a chance to have it included in HR 5297, the Small Business Jobs and Credit Act of 2010. Cheney is asking credit unions to continue to meet with lawmakers in the district during the current recess. Even though he's been on the job a few weeks, Cheney is already putting together the 2011 agenda for CUNA, he tells LSCU VP, Communications Mike Bridges that alternative capital is on the docket for 2011.
