CUNA has added three more representatives to its list of speakers for the
CUNA GAC, Feb. 24-28 in Washington, D.C. Reps. Peter King (R-NY), Brad Sherman (D-CA) and Blaine Luetkemeyer (R-MO) are the latest confirmations for the GAC. Rep. Spencer Bachus (R-AL) is on the list along with Reps. Jeb Hensarling (R-TX), the new House Financial Services chairman, John Boehner (R-OH), speaker of the House and Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), Majority Whip. Sens. Mark Udall (D-CO) and Ed Royce (R-CA), both longtime credit union supporters, will also speak.
The CUNA GAC features other speakers besides lawmakers. Former NBC News Anchor Tom Brokaw and financial expert Jean Chatzky will speak, along with former Mississippi Governor Haley Barbour and former chairman of the Democratic Party Terry McAuliffe.
Credit unions are encouraged to attend the CUNA GAC for the speakers, education sessions and the Hill visits later in the week. Check out the
