Consumers across Alabama and Florida will once again see the cooperative credit union message, "credit unions, we're giving banking a better name," and be pushed to the
www.betternameforbanking website. The LSCU & Affiliates Cooperative Image Campaign will kick off May 26 and run for eight to ten weeks in the 14 media markets in both states. The channels for the campaign will be among the most diverse ever done through a state cooperative campaign.
The traditional TV and radio ads will run, along with some markets utilizing billboards. Many markets will see traffic sponsorships on TV and radio. The biggest change will come with the online media buy. It's much richer and runs the length of the campaign. Consumers will see the credit union message in spaces they have not traditionally been before. Besides the traditional online behavioral targeting and YouTube, the online buy will also utilize Pandora, search engine marketing, Facebook, mobile targeting, domain email marketing, Twitter, and video pre-rolls. All of the content can be shared by credit unions that participate in the campaign.
The campaign also has the most credit unions participating with 115 with the media buy being over $1 million for the third time. Once the media buys are finalized, they will be posted on the
LSCU Cooperative Image Campaign webpage. If you have any questions or your credit union would like to participate, contact LSCU VP of Communications
Mike Bridges at 866.231.0545 ext. 1022 or Director of Communications
Amy Jowers at ext. 1020.
