Florida early voting has begun; candidates will debate

Florida kicked off early voting Monday Oct. 18 for the November election. Each Florida county will have polling places open from Oct. 18 until Oct. 31, 2010.

Governor Charlie Crist (I), Congressman Kendrick Meek (D) and former Speaker Marco Rubio (R) will hold their third debate Tuesday at 7 p.m. The debate will be broadcast on 11 television stations across Florida.

Gubernatorial candidates CFO Alex Sink (D) and businessman Rick Scott (R) will meet in their second debate on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The debate, which is being held on the campus of Nova Southeastern University, will be broadcast on 11 stations across Florida.

Candidates for governor and Cabinet must submit campaign finance reports covering all donations and expenses from Oct. 9 through Oct. 15 by close of business on Friday.
