IC Day 2012 Poster

The 2012 International Credit Union Day carries the theme, "Members Matter Most." International Credit Union Day is always celebrated on the third Wednesday in October. This year's celebration takes place on Oct. 18. The theme plays off three words that magnify the credit union philosophy.

"In the face of all challenges, credit unions have always existed to serve their members," said Brian Branch, World Council of Credit Unions president/CEO. "The clear and simple message, ‘Members Matter Most,' summarizes credit unions' reason for being."

Credit unions can download International Credit Union Day posters and logos from the World Council of Credit Union's website. CUNA always makes many promotional items available for purchase. This year's items include T-shirts, balloons, and piggy banks. CUNA also has made available a timeline for credit unions looking to purchase items and when to begin preparations for International Credit Union Day.
