06/04/2012 05:27 pm
NCUA has published its 2012
Regulatory Review List, which includes the regulations the board is scheduled to review this year. The NCUA has an ongoing policy of reviewing its regulations to determine whether they should be updated, clarified, simplified, or eliminated. Each year, NCUA examines one-third of its regulations as part of this annual review process. The NCUA Office of General Counsel maintains the schedule of regulations up for review each year. The agency provides notice to the public of regulations under review so interested credit unions and other parties have an opportunity to provide comment.
Credit unions have until August 3, 2012 to comment. They can be e-mailed to
OGCMAIL@NCUA.GOV or mailed to Regulatory Review (2012), Office of General Counsel, National Credit Union Administration, 1775 Duke Street, Alexandria, Virginia 22314-3428. For e-mailed comments, please include the words “Regulatory Review (2012)” in the subject line. For questions about the comments, contact LSCU Director, Regulatory Affairs
Scott Morris at 866.231.0545 ext. 2165.
