Credit unions will have the opportunity to hear the NCUA's plan to strengthen the corporate credit union system. The NCUA is holding a virtual town hall meeting Monday September 27 from 3 to 5 pm Eastern Time.
“This new corporate rule is so important, we want to use every venue to reach a many stakeholders as possible,” Chairman Debbie Matz said. “We want to explain the rule and answer questions so credit union leaders understand the new landscape and what it means for them.”
In addition to discussing the new corporate credit union rule, the webinar will update the NCUA’s plan to resolve corporate legacy assets. The webinar is free and open to all credit unions. The NCUA encourages audience participation. Viewers can submit questions that will be addressed during the live session.
