Register today for the State GACs in Montgomery and Tallahassee

The League of Southeastern Credit Unions’ State Governmental Affairs Conferences (GACs) in Montgomery and Tallahassee are quickly approaching, and credit unions are encouraged to attend the event for their state. This will be a great opportunity for credit unions to make a mark on our state legislative sessions, as well as speak directly to our state and NCUA regulators.

 

The Alabama State GAC will be held Mar. 30-31 at the Renaissance Hotel in Montgomery. The cutoff date for reserving a room at the group rate is this Friday, Mar. 11 at midnight. You can reserve your room by contacting the hotel directly or by clicking the link below.

The Florida State GAC will be held Apr. 12–14 in Tallahassee. The optional Director’s Financial Literacy Training and Tallahassee Chapter Golf Tournament will be Apr. 12, with the Florida State GAC to be held downtown on Apr. 13-14. The cutoff date to reserve a room at the group rate is at the end of the day on Mar. 14. You can reserve your room by contacting the hotel directly or by clicking the link below.

There is a great line-up of speakers including NCUA Region III Director Herb Yolles, CUNA VP, Legislative Affairs Ryan Donovan, Alabama Credit Union Administration Administrator Larry Morgan (AL State GAC) and Florida Office of Financial Regulation Director of Financial Institutions Linda Charity and Bureau Chief Bruce Ricca (FL State GAC). The State GACs will also feature time to meet with the state legislators. The League hopes that credit unions will be able to make it to Montgomery or Tallahassee.
