The LSCU has a new audio podcast featuring Rep. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL) talking about the implementation of the Durbin amendment. She says the amendment, while well intentioned, will be harmful to consumers in its current state. She lays out the reasons why the amendment needs a second look and a chance to be debated in Congress. Rep. Wasserman-Schultz is an original co-sponsor of HR 1081 and she explains what the bill is trying to accomplish in the House.
