Still Time to Register for CUNA GAC

If you or your credit union is still considering a trip to Washington D.C. for the CUNA GAC, there is still time to register and plan your trip. Right now, the agenda has at least eight lawmakers scheduled to speak. The list includes Spencer Bachus (R-AL). Bachus is the ranking Republican on the House Financial Services Committee. Some of the other lawmakers scheduled to speak are Rep. Barney Frank (D-MA), Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-CT), Paul Kanjorski (D-PA), and Eric Cantor (R-VA).

The LSCU contingent will have many special events surrounding the GAC and those events will lots of networking time. We have heard from some of you that you’re registered and ready to go to Washington for the GAC. When cross referencing our lists, we have noted that some of you have a room reserved, but do not show up on the registration list. Please click on this link and ensure you are registered for the conference. If you click on the link and find you are not registered, please email Brooke Collins and let her know. She’ll track down the problem and ensure it’s resolved before you reach Washington.

Credit union representatives still needing to reserve a room for the GAC can get a list of official conference hotels by checking the CUNA Housing Bureau Web site, or call 800.974.3084 Monday - Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (EST). Reservations must be made with individual hotels.
