Managing the day-to-day operations of the teller line.
Managing and providing direction to assure accurate and courteous services are provided for members.
Also responsible for coaching the Tellers to ensure their performance goals are achieved.
Supervisory duties will include direct management of all teller operations including lobby and drive-up. The Teller Supervisor is also responsible for vault and cash funds.
Other duties include hiring and training of new employees, coaching and motivating the staff to work as an effective team, completing performance reviews, schedule staff members and ensuring that procedures for operation security, safety and all compliance regulations are being adhered to.
Knowledge of all basic and specialized teller functions
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for financial transactions
Knowledge of supervisory practices and principles
Knowledge of office methods, procedures, and practices including the use of standard office and teller equipment
Skill in performing typical financial transactions and teller functions accurately
Ability to effectively communicate with Tellers, Customers, and Management Experience: Minimum of four years teller experience and experience in supervising and training employees as this role provides guidance to Tellers regarding achieving goals and complex member transactions or requests.
Education: A high school education or GED.
