This position contacts all referrals provided from various sources and conducts a conversation with the member/prospect to determine the best loan product and structure to meet the perceived or unperceived needs.
This position thoroughly explains the Documentation checklist and provides all required disclosures. Accurate entry of application data into Prime Alliance is required. This position works closely with mortgage processors and the underwriter to ensure loans are presented in a timely manner consistent with established procedures.In addition, this position will also support the efforts of the Preferred Realtor Program by managing a relationship with several assigned Realtors or groups of Realtors.
This position requires a working knowledge of the mortgage process and knowledge of all first mortgage programs offered by Community First, such as, FHA, conventional and VA. The person selected for this position must remain informed of all changes regarding mortgage lending; attend webinars and any other available continuing education courses.
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
Other Skills: A high degree of mortgage and some underwriting knowledge along with familiarity with basic mortgage paperwork and process is required. Strong attention to detail, organizational and analytical analysis skills are required.
Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
