As credit union business, and the financial industry as a whole, becomes more complex, the role of policies increases in importance. However, the line between directors’ and managers’ responsibilities in policy making has become blurred. This course will help define these responsibilities and explain how policies benefit the board, management, employees, and members. This course will also cover important policy updates to consider at your credit union. Contents:

About the Speaker
LSCU Member Relations Specialist April Ales works directly with credit unions in Alabama and Florida focusing in the areas of member relations, chapter development, financial education, and the small asset size credit union programs. April has extensive credit union and nonprofit experience in various managerial, administrative, and member relations roles.
