Healthcare spend is one of the most pressing issues facing businesses today. While most credit unions are unwilling to eliminate employer-sponsored health plans altogether, they struggle to find ways to effectively manage skyrocketing premiums without sacrificing employee benefits. This session will address the implications of healthcare reform, its possible effects on health plans, and strategies credit unions can use to save money amidst the volatility.

About the Speaker
Marvin currently serves as EVP/COO for LEVERAGE, the service corporation and wholly owned subsidiary of the League of Southeastern Credit Unions. Marvin has almost 30 years’ experience providing financial and management services to non-profit organizations including trade associations and credit unions. Recent accomplishments include taking a lead role in the consolidation of the Alabama and Florida Leagues and related entities. Some of the key products and services developed include HRx (one of the first complete HR sourcing services for credit unions), ComplyTrac, CU AutoNet, Ventelligence, That’s Life and the Leadership Councils. Currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Members Development Company and Leon County Investment Oversight Committee.
