Credit union directors spend a great deal of time planning and monitoring the organization’s progress toward strategic goals. This course is designed to make that job a little bit easier. This course discusses some of the overarching issues that make up the core of the director’s job: providing the kind of personal leadership that ensures long-term success of the credit union enterprise. By successfully completing the optional exam, participants can earn two credits for the CUNA Volunteer Certification Program (Level 1, Governance) toward their Certified Credit Union Volunteer designation.
About the Speaker
LSCU Director, Member Relations, Adena Whitman works directly with credit unions in Alabama and Florida focusing in the areas of member relations, chapter development, financial education, and the small the small asset size credit union programs. Adena Whitman has extensive communications, public relations, media, and nonprofit experience in various managerial, administrative, and member relations roles.
