Your board, just like management, needs to work continuously to keep abreast of change and improve its operations. This course examines today’s challenges for directors and explores specific tasks of your board. Two tasks in particular are crucial to credit union effectiveness: 1) planning and evaluation, and 2) managing CEO accountability.
About the Speaker:
Laura Lee Vann has more than 30 years’ experience working with not-for-profit organizations in member relations, business development, communications, and fund-raising positions. In her current position, she coordinates a staff of five working directly with Alabama and Florida credit unions in: membership relations, small asset size credit union development & support, chapter support, financial education, and international partnerships. Laura has facilitated more than 130 strategic planning sessions for credit unions of all sizes and is an instructor at the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo and the Southeast Supervisory Committee Conference.
