Job Description:

Maintain overall delinquency and charge-off ratios at expected levels; monitor and consistently update collection accounts in accordance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and perform all related clerical record keeping and documentation. Provide accurate collection activity data for reporting purposes. Repossess consumer loan collateral following state/federal laws to protect the Credit Union from litigation. Perform member service functions as required. Follow policy and procedure related to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Member Identification Program daily to ensure compliance with current regulations.

Experience: Two (2) years related experience specializing in collections. Prefer experience with credit union, bank or finance company.

Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and written skills. Organized and attentive to detail, and able to work independently; excellent math skills and a demonstrated ability for accuracy. Able to operate required computer applications and business equipment.


Education/Experience Required:

High school graduate or equivalent.
