Job Description:

Location: 562 Park Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204

Starting Range of Pay: $21.85 – $31.25 (up to $65,000 annualized)

Role:
Enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of credit union functions by developing, testing and maintaining Episys PowerOn programs, SQL reports & dashboards. Techniques used to support this role include “hands-on” knowledge of MS SQL, incorporation of HTML and JavaScript programming languages and Episys automated forms.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. 40% – BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND SYSTEM MAINTENANCE: Excellent hands on knowledge of SQL Management
Studio, SQL reporting services and building data warehouse. Proficiency in HTML programming and working knowledge of Java and other dash boarding tools preferred. Works with cross functional teams to drive projects. Writes or modifies computer programs as assigned and in accordance with documented departmental standards; works with assigned end-users in designing, writing, developing and maintaining relational database reports, screens, and outputs. Tests and debugs computer programs that have been written or modified or delivered from outside vendors. System maintenance, changes, including documentation as needed to maintain regulatory and
best business practices

2. 30% – PROJECT COORDINATION: • Evaluate and provide time/cost analysis for assigned projects and tasks. • Actively participate in project meetings to help determine solutions or processes needed to accomplish project goal. • Collaborating on project solutions; including writing, modifying, and testing programs and reports. • Documenting all steps of the project process and communicating program installation/results to end users.

3. 20% – SERVICE DELIVERY AND SUPPORT: Based on priority; acknowledge and resolve Help Desk tickets and department hotline, assigned to Symitar and related system functions. Tickets/calls will be resolved according to the Info Sys Service Level Agreement (SLA) and will receive satisfactory remarks from feedback survey. Provide at all times a professional, courteous, accurate, and timely response to internal member requests. Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.

4. 10% – PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT: To maintain personal and professional development to meet the changing demands of the job; participating in appropriate training activities and required classes when assigned. On time completion of Individual Learning Plan (ILP) as outlined by Training Department. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; participation in professional associations.

Knowledge & Skills:

Experience:
Minimum of five to seven years of similar experience in a financial services environment. Demonstrated development skills in reporting tools such as Power On, SQL Management Studio, SSRS & SSIS. Good working knowledge of HTML, JAVA scripting preferred

Interpersonal Skills:
The ability to consult with end users and, based on end user needs, assess and outline project scope. Ability to write and communicate adequately and coherently in a business environment. Able to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is an important part of the job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.

Education/Experience Required:

A four year college degree or completion of a specialized course of computer science study at a business or trade school. SQL certification(s) preferred.
