General Session Speakers
Opening General Session:
Patrick La Pine, LSCU President & CEO, will present the results of LSCU’s member survey and give an overview of the LSCU’s priorities and initiatives for 2011. Patrick will also discuss details of the cooperative image campaign that will be launched in both states in 2011.

Herb Yolles, Region III Director for NCUA, will provide an update on the state of the credit union industry, specifically on Region III, as well as corporate stabilization assessments. Herb will also discuss regulatory/compliance changes that are on the horizon and the focus of examiners in 2011.

Afternoon General Session:
Kenneth W. Gronbach, President, KGC Direct, LLC, is a gifted public speaker and a nationally recognized expert in the field of demography and generational marketing. Ken makes the science of shifting demography come alive with real life examples that make it relevant to today’s culture, business climate and economy. Presented by:

Closing General Session:
Richard Hadden, is a Certified Speaking Professional with a focus on creating a great place to work. Richard will speak on “Rebooting Leadership” and will tackle the tough issues of leading in the new world and provide leaders with practical advice on connecting with workers at all levels to produce value under a rapidly changing set of rules and expectations. Education Sessions
The Development Conference will provide a relaxed, casual environment for attendees to learn relevant information from accomplished experts “in the field.” Truly an educational event, the session topics will help bring a better understanding of what it takes to lead and excel in your credit union. From learning what currently are the “hot pockets” in the regulatory arena to understanding the role of your volunteer board, you are guaranteed to learn something new to “take home” to your credit union.

CUNA Senior Vice President of Political Affairs Richard Gose joins the conference to share what credit unions can and should do to create the most positive political and legislative environment.

The Exhibit Hall will feature 48 vendors that offer products and services to assist in optimizing your credit union’s operations. Enjoy a little entertainment, drinks from the bar(two free drink tickets), and hors d’ oeuvres during the Exhibit Hall Grand Opening. Thursday night head to the Exhibit Hall for a Fiesta!
