Each year, the LSCU hosts an Advocacy Luncheon benefiting the LSCU FedPAC in conjunction with the Southeast Credit Union Conference & Expo (SCUCE). We’ve had some amazing speakers give us insights into what is really happening in Washington and how elections will shape the country going forward. Unfortunately, with the cancellation of this year’s SCUCE, this popular event was certainly missed. But we have great news!

The LSCU Advocacy team is announcing a special Virtual Advocacy “Luncheon” for you in 2020. This virtual event will take place on Nov. 19 at 2:30 p.m. ET. While there won’t be lunch involved, you will hear from one of the foremost experts on elections in Washington, David Wasserman of the Cook Political Report. David spoke at our Advocacy Luncheon several years ago in Orlando and was highly praised for his analytical approach to politics. Now, David will bring us insights into the results of the November 3rd election, what it means for the country, and what we can expect to see in the aftermath.

Contributions from individuals outside of the solicitable class will be returned. Federal election law requires us to report the name, address, occupation, and/or name of the employer for individuals who contribute $200 or more in a calendar year.
