YP Sponsorship Program
Many of our largest credit unions have expressed an interest in leaving a larger footprint within the credit union movement. After much thought and consideration, the Southeastern Credit Union Foundation has created an annual campaign where our industry leaders can contribute a sponsorship of $2500 that will directly impact the future leaders within the credit union world, our Young Professionals of Florida and Alabama.
“I’m sure we all believe that credit unions are where we are today in part due to the cooperative nature of the credit union movement – institutions large and small, working together and supporting each other. I’ve personally seen how large credit unions share resources and expertise with their smaller brethren, with the goal of insuring that our business remains viable for years to come. I firmly believe that we all have a role to play in the sustainability of our industry, and should be looking for opportunities that will accomplish that goal.”
“Developing future leaders is certainly one of the most important aspects of future industry success, and the Young Professionals Groups becoming active around our two states hold great promise in helping to accomplish that. At a recent meeting of the Trustees of the Southeast Credit Union Foundation, we discussed soliciting larger credit unions for financial support of the YPG’s. Our credit union is therefore contributing $2,500 to the Foundation for the support of the YP effort, and I encourage you to consider doing the same, or at least some amount to assure the YP effort is successful. Please consider making this investment in our movement’s future,” Steve Swofford, President/CEO, Alabama CU.
Thank you to the following credit unions for your participation in 2017:
