The Alabama and Florida State GACs are also signature events, as leaders from each state gather in their respective state capitols to receive regulatory and legislative updates and meet with local lawmakers.

Conferences & Workshops enable credit union professionals to learn about the latest topics and trends from industry experts. The LSCU’s expanded educational calendar addresses an array of topics including lending, collections, Bank Secrecy, IRAs, trust accounts, marketing, regulatory compliance, asset liability management, and more. Webinars provide a flexible learning experience for credit union professionals who want the same quality training, but from their desk. Through the use of technology, LSCU is offering more training to credit unions via webinar and audio conferences. Additionally, through LSCU’s cooperative partnership with the Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) Center for Professional Development, LSCU credit unions have access to hundreds of online educational offerings.

Customizable training provides credit unions with the flexibility to train staff on any topic desired. From one-hour sessions, to full-day workshops, the LSCU will provide fully customized onsite training for credit union staff based on individual policies, procedures, and needs.
