Vicki Kraai
Vicki’s 25+ years of financial services experience started at the family bank in rural Nebraska, serving as a teller and eventually becoming CEO. Her many years of banking include credit card lending experience where she was a member of the management team that launched the Cabela’s credit card program. She has a passion for developing people for success in the financial services industry. Attendee’s value Vicki’s highly engaging “been there, done that” approach to all facets of her training and speaking engagements.
Vicki shares her expertise and experience as a faculty member for State Bank Association Schools and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI. Vicki was named the new CEO of InterAction Training in 2020.
Patty is the EVP/COO and general counsel for the Michigan Credit Union League & Affiliates. She previously served as an attorney with Holzman Corkery, PLLC, having become a partner in 2005. She graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and attended Wayne State University Law School. She has experience representing financial institutions, specializing in complex litigation and assisting clients in several areas, including contract and vendor disputes, bond claim disputes, contract negotiation, collection, recovery and employment.
Jared is president at League of Southeastern Credit Unions and has been with the organization since 2011. He has more than 17 years of experience lobbying and as an association executive, including as chief legislative aide in a private lobbying firm and director of public policy for the American Cancer Society’s Florida Division. Jared graduated from The Florida State University in 1999 with a bachelor's of arts degree in history and from The Florida State University College of Law in 2006 with his juris doctorate degree. He is also a member of the Florida Bar.
Kevin is a publisher and a consultant with TEAM Resources and oversees the TEAM Resources board self-evaluation programs. He is co-author of A Credit Union Guide to Strategic Governance that helps governance teams become as effective as possible. He previously spent 10 years at the Credit Union National Association (America's Credit Unions), in the Center for Professional Development as director of volunteer education. He holds a master’s degree from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois and a bachelor’s degree from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio.
David is an author, consultant and nationally recognized speaker, as well as an attorney and partner in the law firm of Reed and Jolly, PLLC. He is the founder of CUDoctor, a full service credit union consulting practice. He has experience providing guidance to credit unions concerning a variety of matters including policies and procedures, organizational compliance, collections and more. He received his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and his juris doctorate from George Mason University School of Law.
Kela is a compliance coordinator at the League of Southeastern Credit Unions, starting almost 6 years ago as a compliance specialist in Southeast Georgia. She is responsible for the weekly Compliance eNewsletter, answering compliance questions that come in from credit unions via email and phone, as well as managing the InfoSight website that many affiliated credit unions use as a resource to learn their compliance obligations at the federal and state level. Prior to working at the LSCU, Kela worked in the banking industry managing operations at the branch level.
